Dancing in the moonlight is currently climbing the UK charts and has hit Number 1 on the ITunes chart

Toploader, Joseph Washbourn (vocals & keys), Dan Hipgrave (guitar), Matt Knight (bass) and Rob Green (drums), returned in 2011 from an eight year hiatus with third studio album ‘Only Human’, produced by Danton Supple (Morrissey and Coldplay).

“Their best album yet!” said Mojo
“Melodies that soar to the heavens” said Q

Debut single, ‘Never Stop Wondering’ became the unrivalled soundtrack for Sky Sports and the BBC and second single ‘A Balance To All Things’ then took it a step further, making it on to radio playlists across the country including the prestigious BBC Radio 2.

In June 2011 lead singer Joseph Washbourn took to our screens to compete in ITV1s ‘Popstar to Operastar’ where his outstanding voice took him right through to the semi finals.
Since the release of the album, the band have been working their way around venues and festivals across the UK, building awareness of their return, as well as spreading their wings into Europe. ‘A Balance To All Things’ is the debut single from the new album in Germany and has cemented the band’s return to the charts out there.

New single ‘Turn It Around’ was released in the UK on 11th February 2013 and a supporting tour followed.
Co-written with Ivor Novello Songwriter Of The Year Eg White (Adele, Will Young, James Morrison), and produced by Andrew Green (Keane, Scouting For Girls) ‘Turn It Around’ is a sparkling pop record. With uplifting melodies, a chorus that quickly gets in your head and stubbornly stays there, and a sprinkling of the Toploader signature sound on top, ‘Turn It Around’ has put the band firmly back on pop’s radar.
The single is available as part of a 4 track E.P including reversions of Only For A While, Breathe and A Balance To All Things, recorded live in East Sussex as part of a short documentary looking back at the bands journey over the last 10 years.

Toploader’s live set continues to impress, as the band revisit all of their singles including ‘Dancing In The Moonlight’, ‘Achilles Heel’ and ‘Time Of My Life’ as well as introducing fans to their brand new material.
